Many Reasons to Ride
In July of 2014 I embarked on a solo cross-country cycling trip, even though I previously had no background in long distance cycling. This ride had two primary goals. First, I wanted to inspire others to follow a dream and start something new, no matter how difficult or improbable it may seem. Second, I wanted to demonstrate that when you believe in yourself, anything is possible.

My Training
I adhere to a whole-foods, plant-based diet and focus on efficient and effective training techniques. Due to an injury sustained in a motorcycle racing crash in 2011, I have a severely herniated disc in an inoperable region of my upper back. I’m a problem solver by nature. Much of my training involved working around this issue to be able to ride long distances, for up to 8 hours at a time. To learn how I stayed motivated, check out my blog.

It's Not Too Late to Give!
This ride was a fund raiser with all donations going to After School All Stars Ohio. You can still help by donating using the link provided on the Donate page.
